We decided to take it easy today so we chilled out in the apartment for the morning before heading to Westfield. They have some pounds that nanny gave them and are keen to shop! So we lounged around the apartment - which we have all grown to love - and made our way to our tube station which is now open. Hooray! We are two stops away from Westfield however, to the boys disappointment, there wasn't really a JB-HI kind of shop - there was mainly clothing. So the boys disappointment quickly turned into my amazement. So many shops and yet here i was with the boys with no chance of shopping! I will definitely head back solo one night.
We then did a proper grocery shop at Waitrose - it is funny walking around and seeing all different brands, everything is different - even the bacon looks different! Tired after even our short trip, we were all happy to spend the rest of the day just relaxing - reading, playing uno, watching telly and eating fancy cheese. I felt like we should have been out and about but we are just absolutely buggered. As Terry said, 'Bel we're on a holiday, relaxing is what we're meant to be doing.'
Our apartment is at the top of this block on the third floor -
no lift and we are getting a workout from all the stairs!
Will chillin' on the tube. He loves walking ahead and leading the way.
